About Skai Landscapes
Skai Landscapes is an Airdrie-based landscaping and hardscaping company serving Calgary, Airdrie, Rocky View County, and surrounding Alberta communities. The company focuses on exterior projects that require more than basic yard work: retaining walls, walkways, patios, decks, stonework, fire features, water features, driveways, and custom hardscape design.
The visual direction is clean and architectural. The work is meant to improve how a property functions while giving it a stronger, more permanent presence. No overbuilt gimmicks. No clutter. No “quick makeover” energy. Just deliberate exterior work that respects the property, the material, and the long-term use of the space.
Owner
Skai Landscapes is owned by Scott Drover. Scott has spent years honing his craft through hands-on work, learning the difference between a project that simply looks finished on day one and a project that is planned well enough to keep performing after Alberta weather, daily use, drainage pressure, and seasonal movement have had their say.
His approach is practical, measured, and detail-focused. A good hardscape project has to look sharp, but it also has to make sense: the grade has to be respected, transitions have to be clean, materials have to fit the site, and each feature should support the larger exterior layout.
That is the standard behind Skai Landscapes. The goal is not to sell every possible feature. The goal is to build the right exterior system for the property: strong enough to last, refined enough to elevate the home, and disciplined enough to avoid the usual overdesigned contractor look.
Working Standard
Professional exterior work should feel organized before the first shovel hits the ground.
Projects are discussed in terms of use, timeline, materials, access, constraints, and the level of finish required.
Design choices are weighed against real conditions: drainage, grade, traffic, exposure, maintenance, and longevity.
The final result should feel clean, substantial, and intentional without becoming loud or overly decorative.
Service Area
Skai Landscapes works with homeowners and property owners across Airdrie, Calgary, Balzac, Crossfield, Rocky View County, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks, and nearby communities. Projects are reviewed based on scope, schedule, site access, and fit.
